Just got done replacing my wheel bearings and got the whole hub back together. Found out today that I used the wrong grease. graemlins/angry.gif

The tube of Penzoil all purpose chassis grease says for wheel bearings but in parenthesis it states "non disc brake" graemlins/clonk.gif

Now what do I do? I put less than 1000 miles on the car a year if that matters.

I see me tearing it all apart again, wiping out whatever grease I can and redoing it all with the correct grease! :mad:

Any suggestions?

I would replace it. A couple of stops and the rotors will get pretty hot. You don't want to melt that low temp grease out of there. I was following your other thread about this so I'll repeat something that was said there...it will be easy this time because you've already done it. Plus it's cheap piece of mind.
