Is it my imagination, or is the perpetual problem of posting in the wrong forum getting much worse?

Brake problems in Member Support; Brake and electrical problems in Chevelle Tech, etc.

The technical questions in the Welcome forum amused me at first. I guess some of the new members joined up without really understanding the layout of the site. It is a little sad that folks post questions about brake conversions in Tech when there is a whole forum for brake conversions.

Top right of any post.
Look on the line that has the day/date -far right.
In your post ,it's next to the #6 and has the whistle icon.

Anybody look in performance lately? There has been alot of threads lately, that have nothing to do with performance.

It's probably because they cant read and comprehend the words that are written that explains what every forum is about under every forum header.

I've tried hitting the 'report post' button and no result or response.

It's working for me. I don't know why it isn't working for you.

UM ,not working meant that the post in question didn't get moved and/or no response to the 'report post'.
Didn't mean the button wasn't functioning.
Sorry for the confusion.

Sometimes Mike, those of us who have jobs outside of TC don't move real fast or take the time to respond to a reported post. I promise you all of the reported posts do get looked at. Looks like the last 3 out of 4 you reported got moved. Not sure why the Gear Vendors one wasn't but it is what it is :)
Besides chasing/banning Spammers is more fun :D

Sometimes Mike there are already too many replies when you report it.
Also, it's not always a big deal really, depending on the topic and which forum it's posted in, it might fit in okay and just be a matter of opinion on our part.

Oh, also, sometimes when the thread is getting replies, I wait until it drops off the page for a while and then move it for the sake of searching within a certain forum.
