Hello, other than what is shows in the assembly manual for placement of the striping. Does anyone know if the stripes wrapped into the jambs of the fenders, doors etc. or did they stop short of going in the jambs? I have 2 sets of NOS stripe kits and both kits are longer then they need to be, therefore I don’t have clear direction.. Any survivor D96 cars out there with pictures?
Thanks, Dave

Dave, I would think they wrapped into the jambs a littel, since the exposed edges are less likely to get snagged and start peeling away.

Dave, do you still have the pics of that old survivor car? Here are two that you sent me. You can clearly see where the front stripe ends, and I think I see some of the stripe on the door jamb in the second pic.

It looks like the stripe goes into the door jamb about 3/8", but stops short at the wheels. Looks like it's cut on an angle at the wheel too.
I know with the 69 stripes, they go inside the door jamb about 3/4".
Thanks guys.. I am away from my home computer, but I will check those old pics..
