Hi guys.

I was digging through junk looking for some closed chamber heads to put on a flat top 454 and found a set of 206 1965 castings (3856206) and was just curious if they are of any special interest.

I hate to cut them up if they are hard to find, and I probably have other small chamber castings.

Thanks
Jeff

Jeff,

Lots and lots of these were made....maybe worth something to someone looking for your casting dates... Nice super small chamber. Will wake-up a flattop 454 for sure. Typical later 454's come in at 7.9--8.1:1 CR.... With the FT pistons and 206 heads, 9.25:1. If you have dished pistons, 9:1

Thought they ran 10.25:1 in 65 with a 396 and stock pistons.

They did. Swapping those heads to a flat top or dished equipped 454 more commonly found on the road or in wrecking yards today will yield compression ratios that George listed.
