Can anyone tell me how I can fix a gap in my vent window to vent window frame? THANKS:hurray:

My guess is that the pivot pin on the V-frame is not fully seated in the pot-metal chrome riser or is bent. Hard to tell from photo. Can you post a photo showing the entire V-frame? The V-frame pivots on that pin and on the lower post at the bottom center. That post could also be bent.

I'm taking a guess here: Looks like the screw at the top of the assembly is loose? Looks like the vertical run channel has slipped down a bit and the pivot pin is not fully inserted. Sometimes that tiny screw gets stripped because it holds two metal pieces together and the weather strip cap. Try taking the screw out and resetting the pivot pin (with the door open and the door window rolled down). If that doesn't work, then you'll probably need to remove the vent window assembly and disassemble, checking for bent pivot points. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If you send me your email address, I'll send a photo of the disassembled vent window.
