I'm in the middle of doing a jgc box swap and figured i'd buy a new pump while I'm in there. Rather than use lee inserts I picked up a pressure hose from an 81 camaro. the question is rather than taking the back piece out of a newer pump could I just buy a new pump for say an 81 camaro?

The ones that look like canned hams instead of my current old style one. The brackets being used are the original 69 bbc parts.
