Classic Loop is stock. I went with ACC brand which sucks! The back tunnel is WAY to wide and tall. I'd almost say I had it backwards except it can't be. Brand probably matters more than cut.

Loop pile is as it sounds. The fibers are looped from the backing back to the backing. Cut pile has the loop end shaved off.

!00% nylon is the best material for durability and ability to clean as far as cut pile goes but also more expensive when buying carpet than say a polyester (and it's many different names).
This is due to the nature of nylon to spring back to shape after stepped on where as polyester is not as prone to. Polyester carpets need to be very dense in order to help support neighboring strands.

Loop pile is what you see for commercial carpet in businesses and also glued to concrete basement floors and also Berber which is much nicer and put over top of pad.
Loop pile is much easier to clean than cut pile and also withstands traffic patterns much more.

In a custom car, a thick, dense, cut pile would look wonderful.
But....you would need a skilled carpet man to install and cut and seam back together to give a nice custom fit around the tunnel and such.

Hope this helps.
