I'm a Chevelle owner, but I have a problem with my 2002 Suburban Truck. Over the holidays I moved alot of hams and turkeys around to other stores. It really never had more than 850lbs in the back and never squeaked before. Here is the problem.
The leaf spring bushing is squeaking real bad on both rear front bushings, I'm guessing there is a bushing in there, its where the leaf spring bolts to the frame. Today it was raining and the squeaking stopped when it was wet and started again when it dryed out. Is there a type of grease to stop this and what is the best way to get it in there?
The truck has 41,000 miles on it if that matters.
Any ideas would be great,
Thanks,

Go get some boat/trailer wheel bearing grease. This stuff is waterproof so it won't wash away and stops all squeaks, I use it everyday chasing suspension squeaks.
