So, it's time install the windshield in my 67'. I want to install it myself and I found a website called,

windshieldstogo.

You can order it and pay for it without being installed (just the price of the glass). Also the better attribute is, you can pick it up at many warehouse locations around the US. There is a selection block for all warehouses available. Pick the one close, pick it up. You will have to pay taxes but not the large shipping cost. I thought this would be helpful and save money for people that can't afford to pay someone else to do the work.

If you follow the site's promts you will get the info you need. Interesting. Price quoted including tax for me was $120. Not including gas and my time. Not a bad price. However, one phone call to my glass shop and for $140 including glass and installation they will come to me. They do a perfect job everytime and have been doing so for 20 years. Depending on where one is located perhaps that place is a good alternative.

Raven, I'm not a shop and the couple I've had done left crap on the car
and one they scratched. My buddy helps me/and I him when we need two
sets of hands. If someone scratches my car it needs to be me;)

Same price whether you are a shop or not. Believe me, I've heard the horror stories about glass shops. I'm fortunate to know one that is run with pride and integrity.
