I did a search, but couldn't find specifically my answer
1971 Chevelle
Origianlly power disc front and drum rear
I'm upgrading to Wilwood 12" power disc fronts and rears. Currently my booster is shot, so I need to get one anyway. I know I need a new master cylinder and proportioning valve when doing the rear power disc change.
Questions:
Any advice on which 11" booster to get for good results? I can find them on ebay for cheap.
Same question on the master cylinder, proportioning valve, and distribution block (except for the Ebay part....I don't know what I need to search for there)? Is there a good year car (197X Corvette, for example) to get all this off of that would work well. Are there any of these parts that wouldn't need swapped out?
Do I have to run new lines all the way to the rear or will the existing ones work, with the exception of actually tying them to the new calipers?
Thanks,
MP
