: Rear disc caliper bleeding screw in 3 o'clock position

My 70 chevelle rear disc caliper bleeding screw is facing the 3 o'clock position or 9 o'clock position...is bleeding going to be dificult?????

What are the calipers from? You sure they are not on the wrong sides?

If the caliper cylinder is above the bleeder, you'll have air trapped in there and won't be able to get it out.

I bought the car already done with the rear disc conversion on already....i can take a pic....how can i tell if the cylinder is above the bleeder...thanx Jery

Well is the bleeder near the bottom of the caliper or near the top?

Yes, if there there looks to be part of the piston above the bleader, this could be a problem.

You could always take the caliper off, position the bleader screw at 12 o'clock, and let it gravity blead from there.

Or with the caliper off, put wood between the pads and pressure blead them that way. Then re-install them, ;) .
