fyi, found the info I was looking for:

Unfortunately, my memory of the cap was of pics of the 'other' caps. The 'vette cap still uses bales.
Be sure to check my post on "Jury Pool" regarding disc brake conversions if that's your game...lots more info added this week, and please email me with any info/links of your own to add to that thread. I'm lacking some information on stock Chevelle spindle disc brake conversions.
