i need some pics of the braket that holds the dist block and the dist block itself. or if your really good at describing it give it a shot. ive got a new braket and lines from inline tube and so far it doesnt seem to be right. the car didnt have the correct stuff on there, not even close. so im hoping to at least get close not necessarily OEM replacement, just close. any help is appreciated. thanks

Ram Air-

Here is a PICTURE (http://www.71protouringchevelle.com/041203-07.JPG) of an aftermarket proportioning valve on a '71 Chevelle ('72 is the same as long as you have factory power disc brakes) showing that it is bolted to the frame, with no bracket. The factory valve is almost identical, only made in cast iron. 4-way drum brake cars used a prop valve with a bracket....can you post a picture of your valve? Hope this helps.

I have an original distribution block for a 72 SS. I have a picture on my computer at work if you want me to e-mail it to you.

thanks Gregg and Jamie i really appreciate the pics. your pic Gregg answered my questions. im running a disc/disc valve to work with the wilwood system and it looks just like that. i noticed today that i could get the one bolt in the frame, the back one didnt line up with anything i dont think. i have the engine in and the headers on as well so i cant see to well. but again thank you youve answered my questions both of you.
