I posted this (http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2730575&postcount=1) a couple of weeks back. Since then I went back and looked at the repro fenders I bought and they are DII (Dynacorn). I now note that vendors, including the one that I originally bought my fenders from, sell Goodmark. Is it possible they are from the same manufacturer and of the same quality (implication is that I wouldn't want to use them)? I would really like to get a better RF fender than I have.
Thanks!

Hi from what i heard they were all golden legion, goodmark was making their own quarters until the GM die wore out and then went back.I called around to become a vendor and was told this.i even contacted the company oversea's.not saying someone out there is making their own,a freind of mine owns some rare mopars swears by this company www.autometaldirect.com. i have not contacted them though,i would like to know also,i need sheetmetal for mine and a couple others. i also just ordered a fender for a collision job and came bent,so i ordered another from a diff company when it arrived it was the same fender in a diff box.

I picked up a right fender for my '69 from Ground Up last summer and it was a dii part. I questioned why it wasn't a Goodmark and was told they were the same fenders, just sold under a different name. The left fender I got is a Goodmark and doesn't fit much better, they both bow out at the door.

Found this before, it might help you. Scroll down a little to the fender diagrahms. I know its a 67, but the method should still be the same.

Thanks for the info, I've heard of doing that but haven't had the time to take them back off and make the cuts. The diagram helps alot.

So, I contacted AMD and got this reply:
We are working on our tooling for the 1969 Chevelle fenders. I believe the ones I currently have in stock are a Legion brand. They aren't the Dynacorn version. Our own version will be several months out.
Should I try the Goodmarks? Anyone?
