Hey everyone,

I am swapping a 12 bolt into the '65 Lemans in the near future. Would like to add the frame triangulating braces while I'm under there. I have heard good things about the Edelbrock braces (specifically allowing more exhaust/floorpan clearance than the Hotchkis) but the Edels are backordered from Summit. Does anyone else make a similar version of these? I would just make them myself but the machine shop is down here at school. Thanks!

I think Summit was backordered when I went to buy them 5 months ago. I got them from Jegs.

Nice pieces but they wouldn't clear my exhaust (custom job) because the mufflers are in the way. I'm going to have the exhaust redone so I can get the braces in.

Tim.

If you talking about the upper adjustable control arms ......look at the Metco ones they too allow for more exhaust clearance over the Hotchkis ones ..... the factory triangular or edelbrock braces should both be OK with big tailpipes. FWIW

The reproduction ones are also available and would likely fit just fine. They might be a little less expensive too and they pretty much do the same job.
