I am putting this car back together. I think there is a weatherstrip that goes across the top of the cowl. Where does the second piece go? On the Hood or does go along the edge of the cowl?

Dave....One goes on the hood, and the other one goes on the cowl.

Do you see the holes for the clips that hold the rubber? They are in the hood and also the cowl. I used glue and clips on the cowl strip and just clips for the hood strip.

Just a little tip, most of the repo cowl rubbers are either to thick or too dense and will not let the hood close all the way. I heated mine up with a heat gun and kept shutting the hood on it till it smashed down some. Maybe they fixed them by now?

So it goes on the hood and on top of the cowl.
