a68SS396dood Apr 17th, 04, 5:38 AM I am wanting to put a tilt in my 68 4 speed car. I have located a auto column from a 68 Impala. Will it work? I was told length was different but, I'm not so sure. Any input on this as it won't last long. Also, it looks like changing from auto to 4 speed is not a big deal. You have to have the steering column shaft welded to the coupler at the steering box (Our's Was Lazer Welded), but it is well worth it. Newer Parts/Technology !!!!! It worked fine if it was a different lenght I never noticed it and either did any one else it looked stock even same wheel. | ||
