What do you think???

Sizes and mods to make them fit:
Front is
15x7
4" backspacing
235/60s

Rear is
15x10
4.5 backspacing
295/50s
67 chevelle 12 bolt (5/8" narrower each side)
cargo control springs (1" taller then normal springs)

I have about 1" of room from the frame to the belly of the tire. I will be rolling the lip if I see signs of rubbing but I dont think the ride height will get low enough to worry about it.

Looks good! IMO - you should consider lowering that puppy 2-3" all around, it will look even better with performance to match. (unless construction use requires the ground clearance)

I think it looks great. Do the wheels have a brushed look/feel to them? I am undecided on an old school wheel right now and those are probably a cost effective option.

Just thought Id add a little info on just how much more traction I have now.

My old tires were 215s all the way around and traction was a big issue. Now that I have 295s the traction is insane! My locker wants to stay locked during some turns compared to always unlocking. I take off hard and they grip without spining even with the change to 4.10s!

Plus they just look MEAN!!!

My friends cant get over how wide they are lol I cant even get over how wide they are lol. One of my buddies after driving behind me said " looks like king kongs arms are under your car" lol.

The 235s up front huge the road on turns far better then the 215s ever did! I love these tires :)

I think I can fit a 315/60 drag slick in there :boxing::yes:

looks good. Years ago I had a black primered 69 with the same style wheels. I wish I could fit a 295 under my 65 elky.

Im hoping I can fit 315/60 drag radials. Im sure I can I just need drag bags in my springs to jack up the rear a bit and trim the lip to be safe.

I almost didnt get these wheels. I almost bought 8" wide in the back and a different style wheel in the front. Just to give it a drag car kind of look you know? Im glad I went this way tho I really am.
