1970chevelle-- Feb 15th, 10, 9:23 PM I have a 1970 chevelle with a - - code the car was black when i got it. The car has a 6500 redline tach the previous owner said it was a possible LS6 or L78 car. It is an 11 B car so i guess that rules out LS6 i have owned the car for 16 years and i am curious what that means. Any information is helpful thanks. Ethan1 Feb 15th, 10, 9:32 PM Kenny, If I can remember, the dashes or "- -" on the trim tag meant the car came with a special paint. I could be wrong though. Might post the numbers of your trim tag over in the Tag Team section of the forum. Lot of guys there would be able to help you more.
