Going to be doing a front suspension rebuild here shortly.
Have a PST kit sitting in a box ready for me.

In the past when i've done rebuilds, i've gone ahead and purchased a new centerlinks just so everything would be new.

This time i'm under a little more of a budget crunch and centerlinks are expensive.

How do i know if mine is worn out/needing replacement or if its still ok to continue using. What can i check?

thnx

With the front end on the raised up. Grab one of the front tires, as you watch the centerlink, push in and pull out as if you were trying to steer the car. Check both sides. If there is no play at the pitman arm or the idler arm the centerlink is fine, if there is play, it is time to replace.
