No one knows of a way to install 4 way flashers on a 64 SS with LED stop/taillight ?
Thanks

just like the blinkers- the same as the regular 4 way flashers, but with a digital flasher instead of the old style.

First you have to have a unique hazard switch. Do you have the factory 4 way switch accessory kit? If so, it pigtails between the turn signal kit and dash harness. If you are running standard incandescent lamps up front, you shouldn't need an electronic flasher. the 2 incandescent bulbs up front should be enough of a load to pop the bi-metal in a standard flasher.

No, I don't have the factory 4 way switch accessory kit
Ok about a standard flasher I will try...
Where could I find the factory 4 way flasher kit or a no factory (aftermarket) ?
Autozone ? Checker ?
Thanks

You'll have to find a switch that is uniquely for a hazard set up then hard wire it out from there. Or, step-up and purchase a factory set-up which will get a bit pricey. I correct Chevelle unit can be 150-450 depending on condition. But it is also, plug and play which saves tons of time.

I'm not afraid to wire if it's a good quality kit with a correct diagram
Which kit would be the best to buy ?

I find that by "ididit":

Do you think it will be ok ?

Thanks

This will not help you. This is a kit that we actually make for Ididit to put one of their columns, which has a built in 4 way switch, into a car that has no flasher or provisions for 4 ways. Your issue is totally different as I read it. I read that you have a stock column and stock harness and want to add 4 ways. Is that correct? If so, you need a 4 way hazard switch assembly that will also allow your stock turn signals to work.

Yes, this is the factory accessory kit, but will not work with a Chevelle. The Chevelle used a different column connection (8 pin twin lock vs. male/female 8 way). If you go after this and win it, contact me and send it to us and I will convert it for use in a Chevelle for you David. This is what you need that I said gets a bit pricey. The correct Chevelle/Nova units are much more difficult to find actually.
