Anyone have a good trick to get the rear axle bumpers installed? I can't get the rubber "wedge" in the slot, it's driving me nuts... TIA

Try a little brake silicone lube and a wide blade screwdriver

Ditto on the lube - if it's looobbered up enough to where you can't hardly hold onto it, it'll go in. Be gentle with the tools or it'll tear/rip. a twisting/push will work it in.

Dish soap is a good lube too.
Once it's lubed start one end of the wedge into the begining of the slot at an angle and slide the rest down along the groove. Make sense? Don't try to push it in straight down.

I finally got them in last night with some dish soap, but I had to slice off about 1/8" of the rubber "tab" on the bottom because the wedge-shaped part was distorting. Wonder if these bumpstops were repros or something because they sure seemed tougher to install than I remembered them being on other cars....

Thanks for the help guys.
