I have a chance to get a brand new 69 BB shroud for $40. 2 questions:
1} will it fit?
2} whats the difference?
I know the correct one is about $90, but I'm looking more for functionality than originality. THANKS :beers:

I used a '69 BB shield on my old '68 when the repops were still junk and would not work. It fit great, and worked well and unless you are very knowlegible, you can't tell its "wrong"
$40 is a steal, I paid more than that from GM in 2003.

What about using a 71-72 shroud which covers all of the radiator?
