Thanks men you have been a great help with my questions. I have one more. I am about to install my head liner, My question is when i bought the chevelle the bows were in the trunk. I have no idea where they go. I have one long one .... one about a inch shorter...the third is another about 1/2 inch shorter.... the last two are the shortest but are the same lenght. Can anyone tell me how the go????

I just did mine in my 64 & I was concerned with that aswell cause I took it apart a year ago & didn't remember sh**, LOL! It's obvious when ya just stick them up there to see where they went...I did have one that was thinner with no bends & that one went in the center by the dome light! Hope this helps!

If it's like my 67 headliner, the center bow is actually a piece of heavy straight wire that had a thin cardboard over rap on it. You could use any type of wire IHMO
