I just picked up a used Harrison 4-core radiator and the tube that extends from the filler neck for the overflow tank is missing. It doen't appear to have been broken off at all. The hole is true and is a clean circle. My questions are #1) Was this tube originally welded onto the filler neck? #2) Without trying to weld another tube, is there something I can pick up from the local parts store or even Home Depot to go there? I was thinking maybe the plumbing department might have something in the form of an O-ring and possible brass tube that I could use. I hope I am clear in my question.
Thanks all for your help.........

I very much doubt that you would find anything that is the correct o.d. size unless you were to buy 50' of tubing.
The stub was soft soldered to the neck.
Your best bet is go to a local radiator repair shop.
