This has been a frustration for me just to get some accurate info from their customer service. After the usual 1 hr. hold and talking to someone in India and someone else in god knows where, I was told I was fine and did not need to do anything except register since I used ATT.NET, as opposed to ATT.WORLDNET.

In spite of this, whenever I logged on I kept getting the popup warning me to switch. Then I got the download cd in the mail. I decided to go ahead and install the software. I was unable to do so because my (new) computer does not have a phone modem installed and it is required that you have one to switch over to the new setup. At least I (think) I was able to register and maybe I won't lose my account and e-mail capability when the change comes. At least the popups have stopped.

ATT is not my ISP. I only have an ATT account to get our e-mail. We have had it since many years ago when we did have ATT as our ISP and we hate the thought of having to notify all our contacts if we switch. I also don't want to put in the modem if I don't need it. So I am going to wait and see what happens on the changeover date.

Does anyone else have input on this? I don't trust ATT to advise me (assuming I could get through to them).
