I have a good friend that is in the market for a 69 Chevelle. He wants a big block automatic car and it has to have buckets. I am sure he would not care if it was a real SS or not. The car would have to be in extremely good condition. He is not looking for a project, he wants a something he can drive. He is 71 years old and has a 32 Ford rod now that he drives constantly but wants to have a muscle car.
I know with only a vague description like this it is hard to place a value but a ball park price would be good. How much is this ole boy going to have to pay??

If I was in the market for a good driver, a car that I would not have to do anything to, and looked good from 10 foot away, and had a BBC in it, Malibu/SS Clone, I would not start looking until I had $12,000-$15,000 in hand. A true SS maybe add another $3,000- $4,000 to it...........That would be a good place to start.

From what you described 20K. Maybe a little less for a non SS.
