putting the suspension back together on my '65. engine is a sbc with alum intake and heads. tko600 trans. so some weight has been lost (wish i could do the same as easily). anyway, looking to drop the front about and inch or so. and stay right about where i am in the rear. so do i need to go with a set of 2" drop springs in front? and anyone got a recommendation about a set of springs that they like?

I hear Hotchkis are good springs. I don't have a set but I do like their rear control arm kit, very strong and very well engineered.

I liked my Hotchkiss springs when I had my small block. Easily installed, a littler firmer but better handling ride.

cool thanks. that is what i was looking at actually. just tryin to figure out which particular springs i need with the small amount of weight i pared off the front end to end up with the stance i would like.
