Hi everyone;
Would anyone know if the floor shift cable (TH400) is the same length as a comparable say '69 Camaro floor shift cable? In know the grommets are different, but need to replace mine due to a torn boot, and have what I think is an early Camaro cable.
thanks
Mike

Ground up shows the floor shift cable to be the same part number for a 68-72 Chevelle and 68-69 Camaro.

Hi GenPac;
Thanks for the reply. I tried Googling, and silly me, I checked out YearOne and they seemed to have different items. I thought I had seen the part to be the same 'cept the grommet. The Chevelle grommet doesn't have screws. It seems the grommet could be slipped off and the cable slipped/ slid through the Chevelle floor grommet. Thoughts?

I'm using an aftermarket shifter for my TH400 and the cable is anchored to the shifter itself. My shifter hump is for a manual so I hacked it and got creative with sealing up the shift cable as the aftermarket shift cable doesn't use any floor grommets.
I'm no help. :(
