You can actually get a 295/65/15 M/T drag radial on the back, which is bigger... They look huge!

it will probably be a 20" on the rear so you think i could get 295 30 or 35

Will a tire and wheel that big fit on a lowered 68-72 Chevelle with out rubbing or having to cut down lip on the outside wheel well ?

something else to consider here is how your exhaust runs...if its out the back the size of the pipe is going to come into play. I have 18x9.5 wheels with 285/40/18 tires with 5" BS (3" tailpipes)...I had to ding the left side pipe so it didnt rub....if I had used 5.5 BS it wouldnt have worked at all without goin to smaller TP's
