Hi all can someone give me some help? I need to know where the wire clips that hold the rear cables go and why do i have 3 of them, and are there 2 types of intermediate cables for 4sp. and auto or just 1? I have 4 catalogues here and i'm getting different opinions. Thanks Ralph

The clips that look like Mickey Mouse or rabbit heads?

They go at the 3 points where the cable passes through the frame. One for the front cable under the driver's floor, and one on each rear cable where it pretty much goes from being a cable to big wound and padded thing. smile.gif

The front one goes on the side of the frame facing the rear of the car and the rear ones go on the side facing the front of the car. You should see the grooves for them in your cables.

There are at least 2 different length intermediate cables. TH-400 is different than PG or TH350. I do not know if there is a different one for 4 speeds or not. The front cables might be differant lengths too to correspond with the intermediate cable. I don't know for sure on that either.
