Our 68ss has what must be wagon springs on the rear as the fender lip sits about 3" higher than the top of the tire.

I did a search and it looks like everyone lokes the Moog 501s for stock replacement.

Can anyone tell me how their cars stance looked with these springs. We would like the rear tires to sit about 1-1/2" up inot the fenderwell.

The folks at springs&Things (I think that is the place) says moog 509 will give a slightly lower stance (about 1/2"). has anyone used these?

I know this subject has been beat to death but nowhere can I find a post that states how the car sits with the 501's

Thanks

Dwayne

I just put in moog cc501 springs in the rear of my car. It sits @ 25 1/4" from the ground to the fender lip with 275/60/15s. The other springs i had were 27" from the fenderlip to the ground.

I got some shots in my gallery of what it looks like with the cc501's but not before. The old springs i pulled off were about 2" taller when i sat them next to eachother.

That is with CC501 rear springs, edelbrock shocks, edelbock frame braces, poly upper control arm bushings, and SSM Lift bars. No sway bar yet.
