I bought all new Edelbrock Upper and Lower controls arms for my 68 Chevelle because the rear felt a little sloppy and has horrible wheel hop. I new one of the upper mounts wa at least cracked. But when I pulled the rear end out (12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears) I found that both upper mounts were broken all the way through. They are broken at the welds. I'm talking about the brackets that are welded to the frame. The holes going through the frame are fine. Now, my question is: Do they make a kit to repair this? It looks like someone tried to weld it before and did a bad job at that. I would like to install new ones, if at all possible. If anyone knows of such a kit I would really like to know about it.
