Global West is out of stock on the QA1 coilover kits for their 64-72 A-body tubular arms. Just curious but has anyone bought their QA1 coilovers from somewhere other than GW? Who's got the best price?

Jegs has the QA1 coilovers. Thats were I got mine. I installed them but now Im gona take them out. Nothing wrong with them and they work great. I couldnt find anything to go in the rear that I liked. I ended up getting a Hotchkis TVS. Ill sell you my QA1's if you are interested.

I got mine from this outfit:

http://www.bmrfabrication.com

QA1 is about 6 miles from my house. I bought them through BMR for much less than if I had bought them directly from QA1 but still picked them up at QA1 and saved shipping and sales tax. Go figure.

QA1 seems to be the Coil Over of choice, however, there must be others with the same quality (?)

One that comes to mind is-

http://www.afcoracing.com/

Art Morrison
Competition Engineering
Fat Man Fabrications

Who knows how many others may offer the same quality (?)

Just some thoughts.

The QA1's are the shock of choice only because they are set up to fit our GW tubular a-arms. Afco,Koni,Strange, etc build coilovers with comparable or even better quality.
FWIW,I'm running Strange Engineering coilovers on the rear of my 69.
