Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I ain't finding much by searching. What cars can I get front and rear suspension parts from to fit a 70 Chevelle? What should I watch for?

Well, what suspension parts do you need?

Rear ends/suspension pretty much have to come from 69-72 GM a-Body cars. The front suspension from 64-72 GM A-Body cars.

If you are replacing worn bushings, you need those new, as well as idler and tie-rods.

Coil springs (front/rear) are available from auto-parts stores for ~$50 a pair.

Can you be more specific on what you want/need?

I have a bare body shell sitting on a bare frame. In other words, I have NOTHING! For some reason, I find some kind of sick enjoyment building cars that way. I won a pair of rear springs on Ebay, but that's all I have so far.

I am in the "collecting info" phase at the moment, because I have to go pick my Chevelle up next weekend in Oklahoma (I'm in Indiana). It will be a month or better until I'm ready to buy, unless something super cheap comes my way.

By the way, will any front suspension parts from 68-74 Novas interchange? I have a line on a few Nova parts.
