I got a set of heads from a guy in a trade and I was just wondering what they might be worth, He just told me they are SBC fuel injected vortec style heads.

true vortec heads (look for triangles for casting marks on the end or the casting numbers under the VC) are probably worth about $100-150 max for the pair. After cleaning, checking, screw-in studs, a good valve job, spring pocket work, and a little porting, you are in brand-new territory of decent iron heads, and the cost of aluminum SBC heads is not too far off either.

That's not including a vortec style manifold if you don't have one, and centerbolt valve covers. Also, they require self-aligning rockers or guide paltes.

I dont think they are true vortec heads but I will have to look.
