Hello,
I'm looking to find out the steering ratio of a stock '70 Chevelle and the curb to curb turning circle. I don't have a good idea, so I thought I'd ask the experts; do you all know? Thanks,

The 70 Chevelle with 8 cylinder had a variable ratio power steering gear 16:1 on center, 12.4:1 near full lock. The pitman shaft travel was 81 degrees.
Apha codes on two gears that were used during 1970 production were BA and CF

The 1970 Chevelle Station Wagon with 8 cylinder had a 17.5:1 straight ratio power steering gear. Early production models had 87 degrees of pitman shaft travel - alpha code BH. Late model wagons had 81 degrees travel - alpha code CE.

I do not have information on turning circles.
