I got some disk brakes but I still need the correct front hose brackets.
I heard 69 Camaro hoses will work and mount with the bracket used on drum brakes. Any truth to that?
Thanks!

I can't answer that specific question, but here is my experience. On my 69 cutlass, which should be the same as 70 velle, I did the drum to disc conversion using stock A body parts. The new Wagner hoses listed for 72 chevelle disc brakes were too short for me, so I found ones about 2 inches longer. Worked perfect. If I recall correctly, they were 14 inches instead of 12 inches long and are listed for the 74 monte carlo. When I got them home, they fit into my stock drum brake hose brakets fine, so I save the disc brake hose brakets I bought off ebay. Never needed them. I suggest you put your discs on the car first and then determine what length hose you need, then when you get correct lenght, see if they fit the drum brake brakets. They just might. Going from memory, I asked about 69 camaro hoses and they were still not listed in the book as long enough for me. If you like, I can check my notes and bills to find the exact make of car for the 2 inch longer than stock 72 hoses.

I used 69 Camaro hoses on my originally drum 68, when converting to tall spindle and 12" 1LE rotors.
The reason I went with 69 Camaro hoses is they are about 2" longer then the 70 Chevelle. Then after buying new Chevelle disc brake brackets I realized the original brackets fit the Camaro hose. graemlins/clonk.gif
I used the original 68 drum frame brackets for the hoses.
Unless the years where different I'd say yes you can use your brackets w/ the Camaro hoses too.
Different year and model GM calipers have the brake hose aimming in different directions. I used calipers from a 70.

The 69 Camaro front disc hoses will do everything as mentioned above. Old frame brackets fit and just the right length. Bought mine at Advance - had them in stock. Obviously they fit a lot of other applications too as Advance won't have many calls specifically for a 69 Camaro.
Good Luck
