I posted this yesterday, but apparently in the wrong catagory. Can anyone help me?
I'm going though an upgrade on my "65 SS from the original single type to a vacuum boosted dual cylinder type. I've split the brake line fitting on the frame and now have a separate line for the front brakes and the second line gong to the rear brakes. By the qay, due to cost, I'm staying with drum brakes until I've got some more cash.
Here's my simple question... There are two outlets on the new master cylinder, so does the front fitting feed the front brakes and the rear fitting the back brakes? Does it matter which one?
I know this is kind of basic, but this is another of the upgrades that I have no experience doing, so I want to get it right.
Once I get the brake lines tightened up, I going to try & use my new Phoenix brake bleeding tool to vacuum pump fresh brake fluid from the master cylinder down to each individual wheel cylinder. Wish me luck! Any help or "tricks" tht might make the flushing would be appreciated.
