Does my 78 EC already have the tall spindles?
I want to upgrade to 12" brakes but if I have the tall spindles already do I need the GW upper control arms?
I want to get them but do I have to have them? Thanks

I just measured the stock spindles 7 3/4 from ball joint surface outside to outside. The 12" spindle is 8 3/4.

As you have found out, the GM G-body ('78-'88) does not have the tall spindle.
