Hey everybody.
I am new to this sit and from what I have read everyone seems very knowledgable. Hoping you can share your knowledge with me. My Question is, I have a 67' Chevelle that I want to put disc brakes on the front. I have been told that you can get the brakes out of a early to mid eighties Monte Carlo and they are a direct bolt in for any Chevelle. Which would be better S-10 or Monte?

Do a search for brakes, and you'll get a lot of info.

But, s10 brakes are not enough to stop out Chevelles. Bad swap.

An OEM swap from 69-72 GM A-Body is definately bolt on.

Or the tall spindle swap (from 74-96) GM b-Bodies is a junk yard swap except you need to have the base on the ball joint from the donor (assume you buy new ball joints) machined to fit your stock lower control arm.
