Just started some clean up work on the front of the car and have everything finished back to the A/C Condenser and dryer. This is an original car so I am confident the Condenser & dryer are the originals. I would like to replace them while everything is apart, if necessary. Can anyone provide me some guidance as to evaluating the need for replacing these two items, and any precautions on removal. The A/C does not work as is. Thanks!!:hurray:

Greetings from Arizona
What are your plans as far as stock/aftermarket?
Most likely condenser is good unless it leaks/damaged. It can be checked at local radiator shop for leaks. Dryer always get changed when redoing
system...I had all new hoses made for my 67 Elcamino few months ago when we installed new drive train...
If you are going with complete system the check with Vintage Air or someone like that for complete new system. new compressors use alot less power and work beter with R134 freon Jay
