I am hunting for a stripe kit for my 67SS. I checked at Ausley's, but they do not show a picture. Anyone used theirs or any suggestions? They also show a 14 piece and 10 piece. I am not sure what the 14 piece is. Thanks. { I am talking the side pinstripe kit}

The original standard thin pinstripes on the SS396 were vinyl tape and would be the 10-piece kit.

There was also an optional D96 stripe that originally was painted on. The stripes were broader and the upper stripe encircled the top of the wheel openings on the fenders. It sounds like that is what they are describing in the 14-piece kit. That kit also may be just stencils because as I said the D96 stripes were painted on originally.

If in doubt, try calling Ausleys and ask them directly. They should know what they carry.
