Has anyone tried the "speed bleeder valves" that allow you to bleed brakes by yourself? Any success/failure thoughts?

Yes, they work. Nice if you don't have a pressure bleeder.

I have used the speed bleaders before. They work ok to bleed an empty system because you can open the furthest one up and pump in a bottle. I always have a second person pump the pedal and bleed each wheel the tried and true way old method as the final bleed though.

I heard good things about them, but never tried them myself. Also, I've heard that the early version had a problem leaking after a while, but they supposedly re-designed the internal valve a year or two ago and the newer ones work better now.
