What wiring seems to be the most popular. American Autowire or M&H, and what are the difference. Tks Keith

Keith, I've used both and you can't go wrong with either company. They are both top notch.

I used to be horrible with wiring. Be it a house or a car 2yrs ago I was far from the best. I bought the AAW highway 15 kit and it came with EVERYTHING! So much extra wire you can mount the fuse box anywhere you want. I put mine on the fire wall pass. side.

The fuse box is very nicely made. All the wires are color coded to the fuse box and the print on the wire is very easy to read. The instructions were very well done. Color directions and easy to read. each part of the harness has its own directions example: exterior lighting, dash gauges, alt starter and battery, etc.

I dont know about other companys but AAW gives you a mega fuse that the power runs through before it hits the fuse box. So if you have a major power surge your box is safe.

I was and still am VERY happy with my harness. So much extra wire I hid it all you cant see anything!

Id buy AAW again without thinking twice.

My vote would be for M&H, rewired my entire 70 with it and had no issues at all with the fit. However, I am disappointed in the greese they put in the harness that connects to the fuse box ... my harness sat untouched for a year waiting install and when I was ready that greese turned into a nasty Tar (several other have had the issue). If I ever had to purchase another harness first thing I would do is clean that stuff out before it hardens and put in my own dielectric greese.

M & H all the way. Plug and play.

I had the same experience. I got an AAW engine harness for the GTO simply because I wanted to give them a try, and I got a good price through rockauto.
