I think the 255 will scrub the inner fender on the front. I run 235-60-15's all around on my 67ss with no conflicts. I use 15 x 8 rallys.....have heard up to 275 will fit in the rear and I definately need a set !!

well i have 225/60r15 on the front and 255/60r15 on the back on 15x7 rims... i wanna get 15x8 rims and 23560r15 on the front and 27560r15 on 15x8 inch rims on the back... so kevin, your front doesnt rub at all?? stock suspension??? and vincent, i was told 235 on 15x8s wouldnt fit on the front,(i have a 1967 chevelle) but it does matter what kind of suspension you have....

jacob i think you can do the 235x60x15 in the front on your 15x7 rims and just get 15x8 rims in the back i want to do the same in the back but i have the 15x7 rims already.

Use 4.5 BS on the rear.I put 15x8 with 265/50/15 in front, should be close. (4.5" BS front and rear , rears are 275/50/15 and tuck up in there perfect.
15x7 up front with 235/60/15 will give you no issues ran that tire for years. I have a very large aftermarket swaybar that occasionally turning lock to lock would touch but never caused an issue.

Vincent I have 15X8 up front with 4.5 BS and a 245/60/15 tire and 1" lowering springs....no rubbing issues. Out back I have 15X8 with 5.0 BS do to a 70 chevelle rear..it's 1" wider than a stock 66, with 275/60/15 tire and 1" lowering springs.
I drive this car hard and have zero rubbing issues. It's all about the backspacing (BS) when it comes to wheels and tires. See picks in signature.
