I have a 700r4. And when it was in another vehicle the reverse wouldn't work. I am about to rebuild it and I have never rebuilt a tranny before. What could the problem be and what parts do I need to replace. Also who makes a good rebuild kit because I want to order one in the next couple days.

Buy the ATRA 700R4 tech book and try Transtar. You may need to go thru a parts store. You may need to buy speciality tools. Read the tech manual first. Available at Sumit and Jegs.
