Hello Everyone,
It's time to replace my Power Steering Box in my 70 Chevelle. It's leaky & Has lots of play. I'm not sure if I should go with a Super Fast Close Ratio 2.5 or Standard Ratio 3.5 . I would like to hear from any one who has installed a 2.5 Ratio. Thanks for any input.

That's like asking if you should buy radials or bias plys. There is no downside to installing a faster gear box.

I know lots of people go with a quick-ratio box, but I put a variable-ratio AGR box in my 67 Chevelle last summer and I love it. I recommend you try each, if your able to.

i dont recommend a 12:1 agr...installed it in my 68 and if u lift the wheels and start the engine they turn to the right..real PITA for $320
This is actually a really good question! I was getting ready to post the same question.
My frame on my 70'chevelle was cracked, right underneath the PS box, got fixed the other day.
If anyone has any links or info, Id greatly appreciate it!

I run a iroc box in my 71 w/internal stops removed and pressure regulator from same vehicle, it's like coming out of the dark ages in handling, no question what to run for me ! Rob...
