Anybody got any suggestions, on redoing the control arms on my Chevelle (1970)? I am thinking about removing them, removing all bushings, bead blasting then powder coating them semi gloss black. Then reinstall the bushings and ball joints.

If you are poor soul like me ,Valvolines web site has a page on how to do the bushings yourself. I used their info. and did mine. You will need to figure it out a little, so if you have a question, just ask. I just did mine within the last month. Also replace your bolts if they appear worn. I used grade 8 bolts. 4 inches long. 1/2 x 13. Also get some grd. 8 flats and locking nuts. Try to find a bolt company to purchase the items, they are about half the price of Lowes. Lowes wanted a $1.69 for the bolt, the bolt store was .76 cents. Let me know if you have any qustions.

Are you talking about a web site that Valvoline Motor oils represents? Do you have a web address?
