check out this link for all new parts muncie 4-speed trans. - should handle your power level and they offer an overdrive m21 version price is decent..... :)

wouldnt an m22 handle my power?

m22s are usually around 1800 to 2200 m21 will work good also

Do you have a trans to use as a core or do you need everything?? You could build a M22 out of a good core for less than your dollar limit, if you need everything you are a little short.
